The Island Health College was established in 1997 to provide a centre for quality training in natural therapies. The College is a Registered Training Organisation offering nationally accredited courses recognised by professional associations.
Island Health College also offers off campus learning for many of the theory components of these qualifications.
Some of the qualifications we offer at Island Health College are:
- Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice (HLT40307)
- Certificate IV in Aromatherapy (HLT42707)
- Diploma of Remedial Massage (HLT50307)
- Diploma of Reflexology (HLT51707)
- Advanced Diploma of Homoeopathy (HLT60607)
- Advanced Diploma of Nutritional Medicine (HLT61007)
- Anatomy and Physiology for complementary therapies qualifications - including Pilates Instructors (available online) (unit of competency HLTAP401B)
The College provides professional practitioner training for people with an interest in natural therapies. The aim of the College is to promote awareness and understanding of natural therapies within the community. All courses are presented in a holistic manner, teaching gentle techniques that work in harmony with the body’s own innate wisdom and self healing abilities. Through understanding the connection between body, mind and spirit we can promote in clients a return to this natural state.

Make sure your qualification counts! Train with an approved RTO (Registered Training Organisation) and have a nationally recognised Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Diploma. Island Health College meets all of these requirements.
